Growing up in an Italian household and learning about my heritage growing up, I became very inspired by how deep and rich Italian art is, and how they cherish their art. This inspired me to follow my interest in the arts and pursue that.
about my work
Melissa Cesario is a food and product photographer based in Toronto. She draws much of her inspiration for her food photography from her passion for cooking and recipe development. Her interests in skincare and makeup inform her product work, in which she seeks to elevate each brand’s identity through photography. Melissa’s approach to photography combines vibrant colours and daylight-inspired lighting.
Expertises
photography
With access to top of the line equipment for 4 years, I have developed a strong knowledge for the technical and creative aspects of photography.
retouching
Additionally, I have had been using photoshop since I was the ripe age of 12 years old. Throughout the years I explored the entire adobe suite and have extension knowledge on a variety of programs within it.
graphic design
By exploring my interest in Adobe Photoshop throughout the years, I picked up on Adobe Illustrator as well and have been able to learn how to create graphics in a variety of different designs, colours, etc.
Video
With the extensive knowledge gained from Sheridan’s Photography program, we also have gained some training in video as well.
